Cecilia Russo Marketing Names Tara Nobles as Creative Director

(SAVANNAH, Ga.) Cecilia Russo Marketing is pleased to announce Tara Nobles has joined the Savannah-based southeast region public relations firm and has been named Creative Director. She brings 15 years of hands-on experience in the areas of communications, marketing, design and fundraising.

Nobles is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and relocated to Savannah in 2002 to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media and Performing Arts and is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.

After undergraduate internships with Walt Disney World and the Savannah Music Festival, Nobles began her career in radio, entertaining listeners for years as an on-air personality. She then spent more than a decade in the nonprofit sector at Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia serving in a variety of roles such as Senior Manager of Creative Services and Director of Community Engagement. Prior to joining the team at Cecilia Russo Marketing, Nobles held the position of Marketing and Public Relations Manager at the Savannah Convention Center where she led the state-run facility’s communications and creative efforts.

In addition to her professional experience, Nobles takes great pride in her volunteer service. She currently serves as a member of the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Young Leaders Executive Committee, a fundraising and special events volunteer for the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and a co-leader of Girl Scout Troop #30107.

Nobles is married to Savannah native Barr Nobles. The two have three senior dogs and spend their weekends performing together in a local band.
